What I mean when I say I believe in the hybrid approach in orthodontic treatment:

By using different strategies to simplify complex cases, we can improve the efficiency of treatment, the outcome, and stability of result. Treating anomalies on time brings general changes in patients’ life, at the same time it simplifies the clinical work of a practitioner, thus making treatment plans more delegable.

This will inevitably bring more profit to every practice.

About the speaker:

• 1998 graduated Dentistry at University of Zagreb, Croatia,
• 2005 graduated Orthodontic 3 years residency at University of Zagreb, Croatia

In both, private and public clinics, I treated children and adult patients interdisciplinary.

In my everyday practice besides conventional labial appliances and removable appliances I am frequently using lingual orthodontics and aligners all together with myofunctional approach.

From 1999 I was already highly interested in Orthodontics, especially in cortical anchorage, biomechanics, TMD and function, lately in the last 10 years in corticotomies as well as in myofunctional orthodontics.

It all started as continuous education by attending American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) symposiums, and later on by attending more specialized congresses, symposiums and seminars as well.

From 2009 on I started to lecture on different orthodontic topics, locally and internationally.
