3M™ Transbond™ Plus Self Etching Primer is an easy, one-step system featuring unique chemistry that allows you to etch and prime enamel in one time-saving step. It provides consistent and reliable strength for ortho bonding when used with light cure adhesives.

3M™ Transbond™ Plus Self Etching Primer is made of a hydrophilic material that performs equally well in moist or dry environments. This helps you avoid moisture contamination, which can otherwise compromise bond strength and result in loose brackets at any stage of the bonding process.

With this self-etching primer, the ortho bonding strength is similar whether the product is applied to moist or dry teeth. Unlike other adhesive systems, it performs both etching and penetration of monomers into the demineralized enamel in one easy step, resulting in less enamel loss compared to traditional etching.

1. Activate.
   Squeeze and fold to activate, and churn and swirl applicator to mix the primer.
2. Apply.
   Rub the saturated tip of the applicator onto each tooth surface. One 3M™ Transbond™ Plus Self Etching Primer unit will etch and prime all teeth on one arch only.
3. Dry.
   Deliver a gentle air boost to each tooth.
4. Bond and cure.
   Proceed immediately with bonding. Apply brackets with light-cure adhesive and cure.
