Metal Standard Bracket

The LEGEND bracket is a standard twin design, yet is manufactured with a level of precision that sets it apart from other twin metal appliances.
LEGEND comes in both medium and mini sizes, as well as with features that aid in both placement and wire engagement.

CNC Milling

After metal (MIM) or ceramic (CIM) injection into the mold an additional step is conducted with each of our self-ligating brackets.
This step involves milling each slot to guarantee its precision. The process, called CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled), is the best way to ensure an exact slot size of .018” and/or.022”. 
For consistent milling the milling blade is changed after every 1000 brackets.  
Our brackets perfectly express the programmed torque and angulation for predictable results.

Color code

The distal-gingival color code allows an identification of the bracket to prevent bonding errors.

The LEGEND collection is a traditional twin, metal bracket system available in a medium and mini size. LEGEND medium is manufactured by a Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and Computer Numerical controlled (CNC) precision milling process for a consistent and precise bracket that features a 100% accurate slot and anatomically correct bonding pads for maximum bond retention.

The LEGEND collection is manufactured by TOMY Inc. in Yumoto, Japan. Orthodontists around the world have used and adored TOMY brackets since their first bracket system launched in December of 1961.

As of today, TOMY has grown to be one of the most respected bracket manufacturers in the world. LEGEND is available in a standard and mini size, in metal and rhodium coated and in a variety of prescriptions.
